My Journey Into Intuition, Healing, and Divine Purpose

 

1. The Knowing: Childhood Intuition

Ever since I was a little girl, I’ve known things — things I couldn’t explain.

It started with animals. I was always deeply connected to them, as if I could feel what they were feeling. I remember one specific family camping trip when I begged my parents to take me to a pay phone. I just knew something was wrong with one of my pets back home. Sure enough, when we called, there had been an emergency.

Years later, on my honeymoon, I felt that same knowing again — a deep, sudden awareness that my cat had passed. And again, I was right.

At the time, I didn’t talk about it. I wasn’t sure why I had these feelings, and I didn’t know who to share them with. But eventually, I learned that my grandmother had similar gifts. That discovery made me wonder: Was this something passed down? A deeper part of me I had yet to fully understand?

2. Awakening: The Gifts Grow Stronger

As I grew older, especially in my early adulthood, the feelings became stronger — more frequent, more vivid.

It wasn’t just animals anymore. I began receiving intuitive insights during conversations, dreams, or even passing encounters with strangers. People I’d never met before would come up to me and say things like, “You need this for your healing journey,” while handing me objects or words of comfort. I hadn’t told anyone I was on a healing journey. I didn’t even know I was.

But I was. And it was unfolding rapidly.

One moment I’ll never forget: I was standing in the paddock at an animal sanctuary, surrounded by rescued animals now safe and loved. I started crying and couldn’t stop. I wasn’t just witnessing their peace — I was feeling their pain. Everything they had endured to get to safety. I could feel all of it.

That moment cracked something open in me.

3. Surrender: Trusting the Path

Soon after, I received a powerful inner message — not in words, but in energy:

Throw your arms up. Trust. The Universe is going to take care of everything.

And so I did. And it has.

This surrender wasn’t passive — it was powerful. I began noticing when I would “graduate” to new levels of spiritual awareness. The more I let go, the more I received: wisdom, clarity, peace. It didn’t always make sense. And yes, some of it sounded a little “out there.” But it was real. And it changed me.

4. The Calling: A Divine Message

One night, I had a dream that felt more real than anything I’ve experienced. A voice came through, clear as a bell:

“You are to learn and share the lessons of wisdom, knowledge, and understanding.”

I woke up immediately, sat upright in bed, and said aloud, “Holy crap — I think I just spoke to God.”

That was the moment I knew I was going through a Spiritual Awakening. Something that, if you’d told me about before, I wouldn’t have understood. But now? I was in it.

I’ve since learned that many awakenings come after a traumatic or life-altering event. (That part of my story, I’ll save for another day.) But once it begins, everything changes. Life begins to unfold in ways that feel guided, purposeful — divine.

5. Balance357: Stepping Into Purpose

One regular day at my full-time job, I was sitting at my desk, and without thinking, I wrote down:

Balance357.

I looked at it and asked aloud, “Okay Universe… what are you trying to tell me today?”

The answer was simple: It’s time.

Time to step into my gifts. Time to serve. Time to begin.

That was the day Balance357 Holistic Wellness & Energy was born — a name and mission rooted in alignment, healing, and higher purpose. (And yes, the deeper meaning behind the name? That’s coming below.)

6. A Message to You

If you’ve ever felt like there’s more to life than what you can see…
If you’ve had moments of knowing, of connection, of energy you couldn’t explain…
If you’ve ever felt called to heal — others or yourself — even if you don’t know how…

I see you. I am you.

Your journey is sacred. Trust it. You’re not imagining things. You’re remembering something real.

The Universe will unfold exactly as it should — all you have to do is say yes.
