We've all heard the term...."Music is the universal language." And we've all experienced the moment your favourite song comes on the radio to scream "Oh my God, I love this song..."
Music is healing and magical in so many ways. It can transport us back to a place and moment in time where we remember all the details - how we felt, who we were with, what we were doing, where we were, good or bad, happy or sad......
Here are a few tidbits you may not be aware of - how music heals.....and other cool facts.....
Listening to music is one of the few activities that involve the use of all parts of our brain.
When listening to music, your heart modifies its beats to try to imitate the rhythm of the music you listen to.
Did you know that having a song playing in our head all day and not being able to stop it? This phenomenon is known as "musical worm".
